It's simple: we buy clothes and accessories all day long from stylish people like you. Using our revolutionary UC Buyer software, we evaluate your items based on style, brand, condition, and what we have in the store already.

What things does Uptown Cheapskate buy?
Our fashionable customers prefer current styles and brands, so please don't bring in grandma's boxed-up wardrobe and expect a huge payout. We look for jeans, shirts, dresses, skirts, jackets, shoes, and accessories (jewelry, belts, hats, and handbags). Products are selected based on demand, inventory levels, and prior experience, so please don't be offended if we don't buy everything.

How much will I make?
Let's put it this way: don't expect to earn more than what you paid for the item originally. We will offer you a CASH price of up to 40% of what we will attempt to resell the item for. But really, what we can pay you depends on what you bring. High demand items earn a higher percentage than low demand items. Earn 25% MORE if you take your payment in store credit.

What should I expect when I sell my things?
The red carpet treatment. Seriously, we strive to make your visit easy and convenient. Bring your items in anytime we are open and a friendly (maybe even flirtatious), associate will assist you. Fill out a simple form while we look at your things, and if it's just a few items we should be able to have your offer ready in 10-15 minutes. If you bring three huge bags and there are other people ahead expect it to take longer--we can only hand out cash so fast.
